Default plasti-dip and powdercoating

Just how well does the plasti-dip hold up for you guys that have used it?

I want to do my light bar and off road lights in it if it holds up well. Otherwise I will just have them powdercoated instead.

I would like to go black on the front and rear bumpers as well. Would plasti-dip do the trick on those and hold up.

What is the sheen of the plasti-dip? Thanks.

I did it on both of my bumpers. So far it is holding up well. It is fairly resistant to chips and dings. About a year ago, I did some chrome Westin steps with it. I never had a chip one.....

I think it is a solid product. I would say the sheen is kind of a satin black. Also, products like Armor-All make it look shiny.

yea but you would have to get everything blasted by someone else, which would turn out to be pretty expensive
