post level alignment question
so how vital is it to get an alignment after leveling my truck? i know i need to do it asap but could it go a week without messing anything up? or would it ride like total azz?
My drove like a hunk of sh*t after I put it in, course that was the same time my rack went bad. I wouldn't recommend putting any hard miles on it like that but to and from work if it's close should be ok for a few days.
I'd do it pretty soon. I had mine done the day after I did the suspension lift and it drove like sh*t just taking it there. But that was 4" of lift and a host of new components.
I was tempted to wait after putting the 2" coil spacers on the Jeep as it tracked true going down the road and drove fine, but I took it in about 5 days after having it done and even though it was relatively straight you wouldn't believe how bad it was cocked bottom in. It would have completely worn the inside 1/3 of my tread in no time.
Even if it seems to be driving fine, get it in and get it done. People just need to swell up and acknowledge that the alignment is a necessary step in EVERY front end suspension change...

My two cents; southern, the toe in and out willnot be affected, however the cast and camber will be all f&^ked up. As the truck sits stock the wheels are on an even plane. Asthe trucks front end lifts, the tires end up casting out from the top creating an alignment.
