black before chrome after

You went back to black or what? I know you know what you mean, but I have no idea where this thread came from...lol

 

oh, sorry. Lol

they started out like as the top picture has them.

I melted a hole in the lenses because
1. 55 wat HID
2. smoked lenses
3. directed light from projectors

So I took the holey lenses off, put on the clear factory lenses.

I was disappointed because I was hoping that the inside was black as well.

SO

So now I am going to VHT niteshade the inside and rock black chrome headlights with HID projectors. Thats why I needed to take out the halos, and reflectors and such.

Instead of the factory scattered HID's I am running currently, I will have the projectors.

I think I explained myself. Lol I just started posting up pictures. lol.

 

haha not a bad way to start a thread. but from what i gathered;

you wished the smoked headlights were black instead of chrome
your gonna VHT the **** outta the chrome to make it black
replace the smoked lenses with factory clear
then retro-fit the projector in there?
and did what with the halo/reflector?

haha ok got it. i didnt see the projectors in there in the first pic. so what made you want to do the backing black chrome and the lenses clear, what you had made the backing look that way already? unless you wanted the HIDs to be brighter down the road without the tint on the cover?

 

Man I was going with smoke before fire or some shlt, lol Glad i got an explaination....You would think that the hole that was burned will do the same to the oem, or am i missing something, I probably am btw.
