Hmm, that is pretty dull. I had a couple ideas for this stuff but if it is dull I might not be able to use it. Anyone know how to shine it up or if it is even possible?

Maybe you can clearcoat over it?? I dont know, just a guess. I usually just use dupli-color or krylon on all my painting projects... Usually if I want higher gloss I clear coat. I actually am going to strip the paint off of my sport grill inserts and do them with vht to try and get a black chrome effect like what OE is doing with his headlights.

i dont think clear coat over plasti-dip would work too well. the plasti-dip has flex and movement to it, its pliable. that would cause cracking in a clear coat.
Yeah? I have no idea then. Ive never used plasti-dip. Didnt even hear of it till the other day. Just kind of a thought, thats just what I generally use if I want more shine out of normal paint.

just keep in mind that plasti-dip isnt paint. its a rubber coating.
