Default Re-painted my wheels

So i saw the post about using Plasti-Dip to paint factory wheels. I had originally done mine with duplicolor engine paint. But i guess i got "light" on coverage in a few spots and it started chipping. Well i painted them this weekend, all i can say is wow, this stuff is awesome. I didnt have time to do the steps, so no worries those are this coming weekend along with VHT on the tails and 3rd brake light. Let me know what you think.

Default wheels look good

So what kind of paint do you use? Did you remove the tire or how did you prep before painting? My wheels need a new paint job as well.

It's called Plasti-Dip, i got it @ home depot for $5.78 a can. i didnt take the tires off the rim but removed the wheel and tire from the truck. No this was my second time doing this so the first is a little more involved. I think you can find a DIY sticky in the FAQ section. but basically you sand the wheel with 320 grit, and then clean it, then prime it, and then paint about 4-5 lite coats. But like i said there is a write-up which very detailed step by step instructions.

How is the finish of the plati dip on the wheels? Does it have good shine or is it dull?
