No, the cutout is after the cats so it doesn't mess with the O2 sensors.

 

i had the flowmaster super 44 and it sounded good, till it rusted out in about a year. as you know i have the cb ext and love it. flows a ton better and sounds alot more aggressive.

 

ok so nows its either the extreme or the vortex? which one is better and has a better sound and flow?

Im not sure about the Vortex(never had one) but, I am totally pleased with the sound of my CB Extreme. I get compliments on it all the time..

 

I cut my dronemaster off and got a cherry bomb extreme, never looked back.

 

Sorry for hijacking but.. I see the majority likes cherry bomb over flowmaster and Ive read on here long enough how flowmaster sucks.. I have magnaflow right now and I love the sound of it but I want a bit more especially around idle and light driving where the magnaflow is pretty quiet in those situations so I find myself full throttle alot of the time to hear the exhaust.. I straight piped the truck for a bit and it sounds way better So im considering getting a cherry bomb glasspack just to calm it down a fraction.. So the question maybe the OP can consider also to is to go CB glasspack or extreme.. I see most guys on here run extreme and I like the soundclips on youtube but I cant find anyone with a glasspack? what do you guys think??

 

the Vortex is a glass pack with current technology!! it has same sound as a glass pack with better flow!
