Default Flowmaster 40 series vs cherrybomb Extreme

ok besides flowmasters rusting, why is flowmaster not a good choice.... most of the past posts on here everyone just talks about how they rust out in 3 years, but they sound good... i was also looking into the Exhaust 3rd gen FAQ and almost half of the dodge owners run flowmasters..... I am ordering my exhuast tonight, and i just wanna make sure i am making the right decision going with the cherrybomb extreme... i want a deep throaty rumble with good performance. sry to beat a dead horse, but i just dont wanna regret my purchase. thanks brothers!!!

Other than the obvious rusting problem, flowmasters don't flow well (despite their name).

Cherry Bomb! end of discussion!! If you want performance and great sound only one choice for me!! I have the Vortex, and it is louder than my flowmaster was

Flowmaster seems like it is losing favor with a lot of members on here. Their rusting, drone and poor flow seems to be making people move away from them.

I have a Original 40 SI/DO, and I really like the sound of it. Haven't had any rust problems, YET. The only thing I really hate about it is the droaning. Now that I got the new tires, between those and the exhaust it is pretty obnoxious. I was thinking about going with a way quieter muffler, and a cut-out.

That is what I did. Went from the fm super 40 to the magnaflow 12588 which is one of the biggest magnaflows I could find. Sounds nice when driving but I still have the cutout when I want loud.

Sorry, I meant to add in my vote, I say go for the cherrybomb extreme.

Don't mean to hi-jack the thread, offroad teacher, does that mess with your computer or 02 sensors when you switch back and forth like that?
