Title is true... Im writing this in Tech, because I talk to you guys more than anything, but if Mods want to move, I wont mind.

Last week, I decided to trade the truck in on a car for my wife. Crazy I know. But its going to get me a little closer to my CTD dream. With her driving in town all the time, her Yukon was guzzling the fuel, even with a tune. So I traded the ram in for a Acura TL, beautiful car, and I took over the Kon. Both vehicles are great vehicles, so Im not complaining.

I miss the truck a little, but I know Im not going to get it back now, so I dont worry about it. Im still going to hang out around here because I enjoy this forum and YOU guys!!! LOL, see you guys around!

Assuming its the one of the newer years it more than likely has the 5.3 in it. Those things make killer power for their size and get great mileage. We once averaged 26 MPG in our Avalanche on the highway to a tank. GM sure has their powertrains dialed in. I mean easy to tune, very reliable and they get good mileage. C'mon mopar get with the times and make something that will compete.

An avalanche is a lot lighter than a yukon sorry to break it to ya. They get alright gas mileage for their size and weight, but its not great...

An avy is built on a suburban chasis. Lighter yes but not a whole bunch. I dunno about you but consistent 20+ mpg mixed driving is pretty awesome mileage for a fullsize with 300 hp. This was a 2005 for reference.

Our 2004 yukon got about 17 avg, with a lot of hwy miles. Thats why my dad finally got rid of it when the market crashed.
