For the guys that have painted their headlights, did you just use a high gloss black? Mine is the pearl black and Im wondering if I should use that paint or if some high gloss would do the job.

You want to go to the dealer and ge a rattle can of paint matching to your VIN. For the Black Pearl I am fairly sure it is AXR paint code. One can is about $10 and you need two cans. They are small and more costly than a $1 can of paint but at least is will match your paint.

 

Do you mean painting eye lids or painting the chrome on the inside? If your talking about the inside then I don't think you would be able to tell the difference from a High gloss black to your pearl black on the inside of the light. If your talking lids then I would do like Weed said and get the paint from the dealer to match your paint code.

 

Sorry, I should have specified. I meant the inside of the lights.
I think I should probably go with the pearl. No one will notice the difference but me, but still.
