Default Grease

What type of grease are you all using and can it be used for the ball joints and universal joints?

I'd only reccomend Synthetic grease with a high melting point.
Not sure what year you got, but most of the newer trucks have non greasable fittings.
You can use the same grease for all if you have greasable joints.

Well i assume you have aftermarket BJs or a 2500 because the 1500 BJ has no fittings. In fact there are no fittings on anything for a 1500 with OEM parts. Only aftermarket parts have fittings.

I greased my door hinges the other day cause they were squeeking. But thats about the only part on a 1500 I've found to grease, LOL...

Sorry I just updated my profile with truck info. I have an 04 2500 4x4. What do you think about this http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/gwr.aspx or is there something better. I imagine I will be squirting the undercarriage off with a pressure washer from time to time.

front passenger side tie rod end on my 2004 has a grease fitting. The chilton manual shows it with one also. Strange though that the driver side one doesn't.
