Default Your best bang for the buck mod

In light of some recent threads... i thought one that highlight each members favorite lost cost mod.

im not limiting this to mods just uner $50 or so.. but the mod you feel you you got the best bacg for the buck from.. no matter the price.

for example... i could put my $90 borla muffler.. or even my $90 mopar shifter... other items like go recon line of fire or even something you spray painted in your garage.

let see whatcha got...

Best mod is Tuner hands down. Stock trans tuning for the Rams was absolute crap, plus the mds just flat out sucked IMO. I have the right to say that because I have compared the 2 side-by-side. Diablo Predator currently, but hopefully I can pick up a nice used SC 3865...???

rear airbags are my next best mod I have done as I use them all the time.

There are other mods like catback, HID retro, but those are just preferential and I could live without. I would NOT drive my truck on stock shift schedule again. I'd sell it before that would happen.

sorry..no pics...lol

Hey Doc, how you like those RE's in that box?

best bang for the buck for me was the cam/tuning. It was a big increase in power, but the biggest gains were just being able to datalog and monitor so many different channels. Around $1100 for all of it

Get you your 4th Gen a$$ back into your own section where you belong!!!

Just kidding..... I was gonna say the 4.56 gears, but the tuner is hard to beat for the cost. However, but I'm kinda thinking for the $, my Flex-a-Lite efan was the best mod I've done to date.

Well under $300 spent and I could feel the free'd up HP immediately, especially when moving from a dead stop. The biggest reason I think it's the best mod for the money is I saw a steady 1.5 mpg gain out of it. Not night and day, but IMO the ONLY MPG mod that you can actually make back the money it costs without waiting 100,000 miles for it...

That would have to be my first set of tires. 35" Toyo A/T's brand new with the stickers still on them...$200 for all 4! put 40,000 miles on them and sold them for $180! The best $20 I've ever spent!
And, painting my wheels for $15 is a close second...totally changed the look of the truck

I am with Hammer, I have a total of 70 dollars in my e-fan, and a solid 1.5 MPG also! So as far as bang for your buck that is it, performance and mileage!!!

Tuner close second........

Idk, 1000 for my lift. Totally changed the look and feel of my truck. I have seriously thought about going low but then I remember what it used to be like.
