Settle a tire argument...
Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 VS Cooper Zeon LTZ
based on looks (which is more aggresive)
longevity(how do they wear?)
and bang for your buck?
I've searched this forum and found tons of good feedback on the Coopers, but cant find much on the Hankook.
Guy's at my shop swear by Hankook. I had em on a little ol Ford Ranger years ago, but not very familiar with Cooper
Any thoughts?
if its helps any- I spend a little bit of time in the dirt and mud, and about 5 months out of the year in snow.

had a set of cooper stt's before i got the maxxis tires.. i loved the coopers, i would have gotten the same tire but they did not offer the tire size i needed, IMO go with the coopers great tire!
Hankook RF10 kinda looks like a Nitto as far as tread goes.
LTZ's for up close aggressiveness by far. Sure the Hankooks looks meaty, but I nearly every person who has caught eye on my tires asked what kind they were. They just stand out.
Both are good tires and i would choose based on price and availablility if you are buying local.
FYI...Treaddepot has the cheapest prices for the LTZ's of anyone and Discount Tire is next. I paid $640 shipped for all 4 sized 275/60/20. No sales tax..etc and it cost me $75 local to have them mounted/balanced

The place around me also swears by Hankook. I had them on my old s10 and they lasted almost three years. My dad (Avalanche) and buddy (F-250 Diesel) both have them on their trucks and they are very nice riding tires... Neither of them had any problem in the snow most of the time they didn't need to use 4 wheel to get out.. Like any tire if you get a good alignment they will last you a good while... My dad's first set lasted him two years without any sort of alignment..For aggressiveness they look to be about the same.
I have used hankooks before and they are a great tire.. I'd also look at prices between the two and go from there

Once my BF All Terrains go I am switching to Hankook Dynapro's.. My brothers shop swears by Hankook and a buddy of ours had them on his landscape/plow truck and got almost 60,000 hard miles out of them..
A couple of guys in my hunting club have Hankooks and swear by them. Although the LTZs have a fairly aggressive looking A/T tread, and by most accounts are a very good tire, I've yet to see anybody in my hunting/fishing circles with them...

thanks guys! I found out yesterday evening that my uncle has the Hankooks on his F150, so I'm going to talk with him.
I'd love to go with a m/t, but i just cant find any to fit the stock 20s that are in my budget right now.
Maybe in a year or two, i'll get some 18's with a nice set of M/T... but the tires on there now aren't going to last that long. Thanks again everyone!
