I made a how made catch can and i ran it from oil change to oil change. There was no oil inside the catch can. So, I took it back off. I think he is talking about is a catch can hooks up to the tube between your intake tube and the filler neck for your oil. Its the hose that connects the two. You install a catch can to catch any oil that might go into your intake and onto your Throttle Body.

Which side of the TB was dirty, if it was the front and your pcv valve is working properly I'd look into a better air filter?

it was in the center of the tb plate and there was also traces of oil into the plastic intake i took off t.b cleaned it and used a microfiber cloth with tb cleaner to clean some of the oil inside the intake.
I use an afe stage 2 cai the a pro 5r filter + filter bag this is a catch can im talking about i only see online for the lx models wich is 300 series and chargers ect

the thing is i know that all this stuff is blow by to the crank case but i want the best for my engine and dont want a dirty tb and intake system taking away even the smallest amount of h.p.

If i wanted to care about the environment i would have bought a smartcar lol.

i seen some guys put filters on there breather hose but then get oil and all the blowby crap onto there engines i know i can put a hose there but i need a hose with suction to place the can ...i know im rambling but any help of any sort would help

thx again

Mine stays nice and clean without one. How many miles you got on yours? It's a bit new to be having blow-by already!!

Mine gets a little on the back side of the blade, non on the front. if you are getting it on the front side, then just install one made for a LX 6.1L Hemi car in the tube from the valve cover to the intake.
I do a lot of highway driving so I guess that's why mine still isn't dirty enough to need cleaning at 32K miles.
