Default Trailer towRight turn out

I own a 2006 Dodge Ram Hemi. The problem I am having is in the facory towing harness. I found that I have no right hand turn signal or right hand brake at the trailer. I checked the bulbs replaced the trailer plug and checked all the wiring on the trailer. I have traced it back to the truck and found the right hand brake and turn signal work on the truck. I checked the harness from the flat and run plugs on the truck and found they do not make a connection to the right rear turn signal or brake light. What can I do to fixX

I have an 06 also. i've had the same problem. I unhooked my battery for a few minutes and hooked it back up and it worked again. But it may be on a fuse also. some of our lights are computer controlled instead of fuses and relays.. If that doesnt work try clearing the codes with a programmer or at Auto Zone or any parts store.

There are fuses in your fuse box for the tralier lights. Check your manual or use a test light to find the blown one. Should be a 15 amp fuse.

I would try the ecu reset by unhooking the battery and if that doesn't work, then you should buy a trailer plug checker. Most trailer light issue's are caused by bad grounds. Do you have a friend that can hook your trailer up to their truck and see if the problem doesn't persist with that trailer? Or do you have another known good wired trailer you can check your truck out with to eliminate truck problems?

its the fuses... The rams have a separet fuse for the trailer tail lights/ signals/ and brake lights--- its a pretty good feature.
my 2004 had the same problem. the panel is under the hood just look at the cover and it will tell you what fuse it is.
