Now I am definately leaning towards that Nitto Trail grappler. I think I am going to go with those.

they really are extremely similar. looks like the trails grapps have a more aggressive sidewall, but the Toyos have a more aggressive tread (slightly)

In person the toyo actually has a more aggressive sidewall, thats what made me go with the toyo, its just as good of a tire on the street, the sidewall doesnt affect its driveability and it increases its off road ability.

I dunno cherry, I was in the 4x4 shop that my neighbor owns (he drives a tundra, so he cant get on here) and he has all the tires on the wall. The trail grappler definitely is more aggressive looking from the side to me. But essentially I do think theyre about the same tire

the mud grapplers may be designed for the mud but they dont clear as well as the toyos do. go with the toyos. the mileage youll get out of them will pay for 2 sets of the mud chuckers... i mean grapplers.

oh. and the sidewalls on the Toyos are by far thicker than the trail grapplers. i cant run anything less than a 1" spacer on my truck to fit my Toyo's. the sidewall lugs are 1/2" thick from the tire. only other MT that has a lug like that is made by Interco.
