Default more power and better sounds

I finally got around to ordering all my new stereo equipment and a few other goodies on monday morning and Ive gotten it all installed now.

heres my first delievery (5 minutes after it was dropped of) right before I started installing the amp. 1600W Lanzar. nice company and very high quality. and it has a Boost remote. 1000W Pioneer comp series 10" sub and D-series Component set.

here it is powered on. I ran all the wiring under the carpet so it looks real nice and clean. and its set-up so all my adjustable switches and buttons are on the opposite side of the wires so there easily accessible.

as for the speakers. I did NOT use the crossover that comes with the components as the factory amp has a crossover built in. I had some help from a highly qualified audio engineer test all the wires to get the best one for my tap for my amp supply and getting BOTH front door channels gets you 33% more power than just a single channel.

the door woofers and dash tweeters are just wired into the factory wiring. we tested the wires on ever single point and the factory amp is rated at 250w. BUT at full volume it only puts out 225w. so I know the better speakers are going to be safe because I never have it maxed out.

my rear door 6.5" 3-ways haven't arrived yet but there's no trick to wiring them. simple swap out.

I have my amp set at 30% of capacity and with the boost remote maxed out it hits so hard the windows vibrate. so its plenty for me. only thing i dont like is that I can tell the sub is on the pass side of the truck. all the low end sound comes from there and it throws it off. so I think Im going to end up running twins back there in another custom box.

NOTE: I have the factory 7 speaker Infinity system and I tapped into the front door speakers for my Line-out cross-over channels. i found the wires easiest behind each side kick panel. pull the speakers out to find the wire colors because every chart or diagram i found for an 06 w/infinity was different and they were ALL wrong on the colors. if you buy a component system for up front all you need is to fab up some adapters for the tweeters (i used a length of 1" wide 1/16" thick aluminum and made a drop bracket to recess them lower) and to get some 6x9 to 6.5(or whatever size component woofer) adapter plate and put them in.

**** Heres some more pics*****

heres a pic of the amp before i remounted my seats. i forgot I took one with the nice camera.

as you can see it does fit pretty good. it sticks out farther on the side than i would like but the Mag lite blocks alot of it from view.

The Cortex doesn't boost line pressure like the DSP does?

trans line pressure is the only thing the SC wont be able to do (yet) as soon as the trans options are released monday... which DSP cant do. ;

wait a min.... i didnt think any tuning company could change the line pressure?
