what about this info i got for you
I've also heard of the 'shudder', but it was when running old fluid (mine did it too, but when I had mine changed, it's not done it since), but since you say you just changed it and I'm sure you used the correct fluid. You didn't say what fluid you changed it to, but I'm sure you used the correct MERCON V for it. My e4od (4r100) uses MERCON or this but you dont need mercon but just the info to use

or this I had been blessed with the infamous tranny shudder a year or so back. Minne occured around 35 - 40 mph and often times just after the trans shifted down. Had the fluid changed and that helped for a bit, then it returned but no worse than before. Heard about "LubeGuard" additive to help with the shudder...and it did!! 8 ounces or so did it. No more shudder since then. Go find a little red bottle of the stuff and see if it helpe. Just a few bucks and it can't hurt.

And DirtyDog, I doubt his issues are with the DSP, with his being an 04 it shouldn't be doing anything to the tuning in the trans. I know that with some 04's it will read a TCM calid but thats as far as it goes.
That wouldn't be a fairbanks racing tranny would it??
Also john sounds a lot like an automatic tranny doing it's best standard shifting tranny. Feels yeah listen to me sounds like the pilot bearing is shot or the spindle itself is, well worn for lack of a better term. Either way it needs to come out and be inpected, A couple of hundred bucks to an understanding stop and go shop. Thats all I got dude I know it's not much.

Its great Edge is up to par. I love your thread on DT, couple people came forward to speak up about how bad shardon's stuff is. After hearing about how they are gods to the dodge transmission world, who would have thought. According to those guys, sharadon wont help you at all. Sucks that you are always the transmission guinea pig john, lol. Hope this gets worked out for you.

Ok, scratch the new VB and solenoid..... im not getting that anymore. I dont know what Andre said to them, but Jerry from sharadon just called me up, and told me hes building me a brand new tranny, and getting it sent out ASAP. He said i didnt even need to send him the old one back. but if i chose to, they would pay the freight for it. i dont even know what to say now, im speechless. not to mention im off work for the next 3 weeks, so i should have plenty of time to install it.

will keep you guys updated.
