Those are the treads I been lookin at for when I get new wheels, the price is right and they seem to be really really good tires. Do you drive very aggressive? I'm really really curious as to how these handle on a big ram being driven like ya stole it I do that a lot lol
Just had them for half a day and so far like the way they handle both on the street and highway. I am definately not shy about driving aggresive when the need arises and have been known to show a rice burner or two whose boss (I'm not racing them but those little s**ts will try and drive all over you if you let'em here in socal). But i'll give an update in a week or so about how they handle over all.
I've always liked the Nitto tires, the nt420's look nice but they dont have the speed rating I was after with them, also heard that they were not as sticky as the ones they replaced, the nt404's. Those are the only 2 reasons I didn't go with them when I upgraded my tires back in december.

Well in general I don't need to drive faster than 130mph so an "H" rating suits me more than fine. Maybe if your taking your ride to the track these wouldn't be the right tire. However the Traction and Temperature ratings were also some of the things I took into consideration for what I was looking for. As for "sticky"...I'll know better after a little more drive time but so far they seem to grip pretty good but keep in mind this is a daily driver and I run into a variety of road conditions where I live and also I have a variety of driving styles for different conditions (sometimes aggressive sometimes not).

Shoulda mentioned that the tires that I replaced were yokohama parada spec x 305/50r20s which were rated 19mph higher than these (V). So not that much greater but was also a good tire.
Those are what I have now, the yokohama's in a 305/50/20, and they hold better than the NT404's I had on there previously and the 420's were suppose to be not as good as the 404's. I still want to give them a shot so in a few years I'll have to get your opinion on how well they are holding upp for you

Yea, I'll keep you posted. I did like the yokomamas and they performed well for me but I did want a change. Really like the treads on the nittos and what little I can tell so far they handle good.
I guess a tire purchase really determines where the truck goes. Up or down that is. Nice ride and tires btw.
You got that right brother. I remember when I first jumped onto this forum I wanted to raise the front end for bigger tires but in the end decided I would want a 4x4 if I ever went up. Now I want to level the rear and if I hadn't spent a good chunk of change on those step bars I would have just dropped her even lower.
