Put V6 Specific back to the way it was admin
I don't know about the rest of you but I kinda liked having the section in a sub section, there are way to many posts to have to read through 101 pages to find a topic. Just saying...
If you guys agree leave a message

i agree. they should have thier own section. its bad enough with the 4.7 vs. 5.7 confusions. adding the v6 is just gonna make it worse. and it is easier for them to find information on thier stuff.
awww come on guys. it is bad enough reading through all of the threads and re threads about what do you think the best is and just another..... even though there is a FAQ and how to section. putting another class in could get crazy

the point of it was so that when you post up problems you have more eyes on to see it. then again, i guess if you want more eyes on, you could just post in the big boys section
There were a few reasons it was merged and will NOT be re-created.
1) Just a couple of posts a day was not enough to keep a separate sub-section going. The simple fact that it took 5 days for someone to even mention that the subsection was merged should show you how inactive it was.
2) There were some PMs from members with 4.7s and Hemis basically asking for new sub-sections for their specific engine class "since the V6 guys had one". So to make things "fair" and to not have to create yet more sub-sections, the V6 section was merged.
3) But the biggest reason by far, is the fact that we have been monitoring this for a few weeks while discussing the idea of merging it and found that over 50% of the posts in the V6 sub-section were ALSO POSTED IN THE PARENT 3RD GEN SECTION by the OP. Obviously there was not enough response in the V6 sub-section to give the answers the OP was looking for or to solve his problem.
So, as AF_Hemi has stated, yes, it is so more eyes can see your issues and help with problems. And more importantly, every time a "V6 Guy" posted the EXACT SAME question in both sections, it was breaking a forum rule:
4. Double posting is not allowed and can result in the deletion of one or both posts. Double posting is defined as posting the same information in two or more separate forums. We understand that some topics might fit into more than one forum. Please try to pick the best one. In addition, please do not post in the same thread back to back (another version of double posting), if you have something more to add, edit your post, don't post twice in a row in a thread.
