Back from dealer service department
Had the EGR valve installed, transmission serviced, fluid change in both diffs and transfer case, fuel injection service and throttle body cleaned. Also tires rotated, LOF and air filter change.
Normally I do my own oil and filter changes but $17.95 is cheaper that I can buy 6 quarts of oil, an oil filter and an air filter.
My gripe - I am meticulous when I service any fluid and it is real irritating to have to crawl under my rig and wipe down the splashes and drips... including the drain "trough".
I also noticed that one of four clips that hold the air filter cover was missing. I'm sure they figured that most folks wouldn't check it or miss it.
One thing I notice on the customer printout regarding the installed EGR valve... it said "REPLACED EGR VALVE, ERASED CODE AND ROAD TESTED OK. IT WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE TRUCK CAN GO HAVE IT'S EMMISIONS CHECKED." What gives with that??? My tabs expired April 30 so I had hoped to take it back through emissions on Monday. Do I really have to wait a few days?

The clips on the air cleaner are the dumbst of the dumb things I hate abought dodge, the second item I hate is dodge dealers.
My last oil change was at the dealer and the num nut did not bothier to grease up the front tie rods.
If its okay, I would like to start up prasie for the excellant dealers ( if thier out thier ) and leave all the negative expierances nameless, no need to even mention thier name.
I'm off warenty now, so no need to see the dealer, oh and my bigest bitch, is when the radio station is changed and the seat is moved up to accomodate some legless num nut with greasy paws !!!
And damit, getting the speal abought maiantance from a paper pushing dumbass who knows nothing abought the mecanics of my truck but can quote the upsell bible word for word !!!!

Cyclone, your misspelled words are driving me crazy...its not an English class but DAMN
But you are totally right about the service attendant trying to act like he knows what happened. They will act like they rounded the globe to fix this or that, and I think they have to have passed a lying class to work there...
I seriously had one tell me that HE took my truck down the road to check my AC and the rough ride/shake while all that was going on. Said they detected nothing and didnt fix anything. Crazy thing is my odometer showed no change (I record it before going in), the seat was in the same place, the AC pointed the same way, and IT WAS ON THE SAME SONG AS WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF. Unless forwarded it through 113 songs to get back to that one, it was not driven

Talk about a bare faced liar!
Al.
He argued with me in front of everyone, talking down to me because im only 22, and finally I yelled FK it, Im going to a different dealer, called Chrysler and switched my home dealer
I just get pissed at how for some reason being 22, I am dumb or easily fooled or something....I got a 32 on my ACT, have 6 years of college, over 200 hours of classes, and probably smarter than 90% of the people I deal with on a daily basis. But just because Im young or they think im cocky they try and screw me like a sophomore cheerleader
