Hi all:
I'll try to keep this short, and ill be doing alot of searches for additional info. Currently my last 3 trucks have been F150's all 3 good trucks no major problems. Looking at changing this time around and looking at good used 02-06 rams. will have to be 4x4 with either a 5.9 or 5.7 hemi. I don't tow alot but it happens 4-5 times a year. Due to the first Grandbaby coming in a cpl months will have to be a quadcab.

Are there any major items to look for on these years ?? ford hada cpl items you had to keep your eyes open for like the door skin cracks and sparkplug problems. Im just looking for anything that is out of the ordinary.

Yeah.........if it's got an LSD, make SURE it's not got the dreaded clutch pack retaing problems.
Go for a 4x4 that has had an aftermarket LSD installed.
The years your looking at buying, have a lot of issues with the crappy stock LSD's.
Other than that, just check the usual......burnt smell and discoloured ATF fluid etc etc.

by LSD im assuming limited slip diff?? ill do some searches on that.
