Opinions on Spoilers

But please, buy the $60 bulbs and prove me wrong because I would like a little more light outta them myself. I do like the oracle kit, but I would be afraid it takes away from the brake brightness a bit too much.

With your truck I say no to the srt style spoiler. Personally I am going to get one but trim it down a little and mount it to the hard top cover so I can still use the bed and make it not as big. I do like the style of them but they gotta match the look you are going for and while I am fairly sure it will match the end look I want I dont think it will end up looking right for the look you are going for

Agreed. I like the look of it for a sport truck, but only if you put it on a hard cover. That way it lifts out of the way with the cover.

I wouldn't. They wont be as bright as what you have now. Common misconception about LED's. 99% of them are NOT brighter than the halogens you have in there now. There is no 3157 LEB bulb, even the 60 count ones that sell for a ridiculous $60, none of them are gonna be as bright as what you have now. LEDS just dont have the luminescence like Halogens do. The only benefit is a cleaner more whiter light at the expense of output. Halgons alone with no LEDS around to compare against appear white to the naked eye. it's only when you compare the 2 side by side when anyone actually notices a difference. With the brake lights being red as it is, it would be a waste.
