Exhaust : Out the back, or Dump it?
Same set-up I have. Less snow being packed into them and if one of your hangers should ever get loose or break and its straight out the back, you look like an idiot because your tips are uneven, call me **** but I like everything to be all level and even
Prefect for getting attention from the Police when you are bombing around pissed drunk like a god damned retard. We shall not forget.
damn i bet it howls!
I just finished putting my LTs on a few minutes ago at the barn.... Drove it home open headers and i was scared to touch the gas!!!! IT ROARS!! also didnt want to wake the whole town up...
I have always liked dumped exhausts, but this time around I really wanted to be a little quieter in cab, so I had it exit out the back this time, right behind the passenger tire. I had to get a black tip though to be willing to do it.
I have never liked the dumped exhaust sound. It echoes under the vehicle making it louder and for the most part, they just dont have a clean sound to them.
Running tips will give a clean sound and there will be no echoic sounds underneath that generally cause the exhaust to sound crappy IMO.
I have always been into the cleanest exhaust sound possible, so if your one for the overly aggressive toned or sloppy and poppy type tones, then you wanna go dumped. Otherwise, spend the money and exit the pipe.

I just always liked the look of dumped exhaust, I dont like the look of any exhaust out the back personally...but again, I was willing to sacrifice that this time so that I wouldnt have to listen to my exhaust...
