I have a 2008 1500 dodge ram truck. my truck stalls while i am driving on the freeway. the thing that gets me is my check engine light DOESN'T come when it stalls. i have to wait for about 5 minute to start it up again. It only happenes once a day or every other day depending how long i drive the truck. Can anyone help me solve my issue?

 

I had that problem but the CEL light did come on and give a trouble code. EGR valve/sensor

 

My 4.7 would stall but not every day. I changed my EGR and not a problem not..runs smooth.. my engine is a 4.7 with only 30k miles...The EGR has been remade 9 different times...
