Everybody has an oil (crankcase) breather, but yours simply vents into the atmosphere. To meet 2006 EPA standards, they must now utilize a "Closed Loop Breather System" meaning the crank fumes (oil etc) are passed into the intake for combustion, preventing them from being passed directy into the atmosphere. Dodge started it with most, if not all of their engines in '04. Basically just more sh*t to gum up the throttle body...

Yep, you '03 guys bi*tch about lack of tuning, but you have no breather to gum up the works, no EGR crap to have to deal with to kill performance and mileage when it clogs up and a simple wire to clip to completely kill torque management.
I don't think you guys are as bad off as you let on...

They do have a differential that can leave them stranded however.

How so? What makes the AAM 9.25" differential in the '03 any different than the one in the '04, '05, '06....?

Was told by you in fact, that the rear end was built with stronger c clips in the 06's not sure about the 05's but that the 04's and earlier were shlt. Ask our friend across the pond , It was his thread, alarmbie.

yep, they chose a slightly different C Clip in mid '06, some say a little better, some say not. But we were specifically discussing the differences between AFs '03 and changes made in '04... Get with the program... LOL...
