I'd also reccomend pouring in fresh fluid. DO NOT use the old stuff. yep, another $125 down the drain....ughhhh
ive already got 18 quarts sitting in the garage, dont worry about that. and dont forget the other $100 that goes for another quick learn!

I'd have them put it in and make it PERFECT before I left town... I'd be a mess if I went through the exact same thing twice...
X2 This has been painfull seeing you go through this man!!

Glad to hear they are sending you a new one. I have been following your thread over on DT and I have to say, I didn't realize that others were having problems like this too.

before i ordered the tranny, i did a TON of research, and saw all the threads by those other guys with problems. that was ages ago though, and it seemed like they had it all ironed out now. this one could have just been a fluke.

It sounds like they are trying to make it right for you, which is good.

If you get the warranty do you have to take it back to them to get the warranty work done?

I would think so, which is why it's likely a waste of time to drive all the way there just to have it installed.
I just don't see the hardship of installing an auto tranny. It's either installed or it's not...lol It's not like installing a clutch or anything. Auto's are all internal and super easy to install IMO.
They are kinda fool proof to an extent.

That makes taking the trip there to get it installed pointless if you have to do the drive there again to get it fixed.
