Default Changed the plugs today!

Dang! Huge gap. But they all wore evenly it seems. I'll never slack off on that again.
Might be their 1st change in 90K. It was a PITA but a good feeling getting r done. I'm
surprised though that the truck ran so well with such bad plugs.

ya mine were all wore even but had a huge gap of .65 after the change and pcm reset i reset the drive by wire . feels like new again . now i just need to get on a long drive so the overhead will catch up , right now its reading 9.5 mpg lol. i average 12.5 on the old plugs so i hope with the new plugs she will get 13. or 14 mpg . will find out this weekend as i have a 500 mile one way trip .

I put the original Champion Copper Plus back in. It's recommended in my manual for the 2004.
I'll be driving about 500 miles by end of week and am hoping this means a litter better mileage.

Platinum plugs are NOT recommended at any time. Basic ol' copper cores. I put NGK 5306s in my Ram and just today the C got a set of the same at 49K. The gaps were at .0050" or so. Not too bad, but it was past time.

Stick with the stock champion plugs. Many have had issues by putting in the platinum plugs.
