whoa dude, chill out. we were only trying to help you. dont need to get all defensive. nobody was jumping down your throat. we just like to get all the facts and info on something before we start offering advice. that way we arent given you a bad scoop.

if you keep up an attitude like that, less people will be willing to help you in the future. just FYI.

i think he was joking, Man people can't take sarcasm hahaha, but your best bet it to add weight in the back. it's free. I have procomp mx6 shocks and mine does that sometimes especilly when one side hits a huge bump and the other doesn't.

Again, I think getting better shocks back there to help dampen the bounce is where I would start. They are cheap enough and easy enough to install.

Throwing on a rear sway bar won't help with the bounce, it will only aid in front body roll.
Swaybars work on opposite ends of the vehicle so you would need to go to the front sway bar to control the back, but again, sway bars help in body roll not bounce, especially on the back of a rearwheel drive leafsprung truck.

Adding weight is another option, but when I put 400#'s of sand in my bed for the winter, I noticed a slight decrease in MPG's just from the added weight not to mention I could feel it back there in the turns.

MY POINT WAS TO MY KNOWLEDGE THERE WAS NOTHING AVAILABLE BUT A 3" BODY LIFT FOR YOUR TRUCK! IF YOU HAVE A 2" OR 4" IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A CUSTOM "HACK" JOB DONE BY SOMEONE.

THERE WAS A REASON TO KNOW THE HEIGHT OF THE BODY LIFT. YOU ASKED FOR ASSISTANCE, THERE IS A REASON WHY WE NEED TO KNOW SPECIFICS. SO CHILL OUT!!!

Had it been a "bastard" lift, it would have been the first thing I would have pointed my finger at to be the cause of your problem.

If it is a PA 3" body lift, odds are that is not the problem. First thing I would check is to see if the previous owner did anything to the original leaf springs, such as added "helper" springs to it. If the rear leafs look to be in order, then the next step would be a good set of aftermarket shocks and if you want a softer ride, then look into hydrogen filled shocks as opposed to nitrogen filled shocks. The atomic weight of hydrogen is much less that nitrogen, hence less dense and will yield a softer ride...

Thumbs down to HammerZ71and Ol Dirty John! Hammer do me a favor and keep your all caps (yelling) crap to yourself. Ol dirty John thanks for no advice other than telling me to chill and watch my attitude if you dont like the question or if you cant answer the question based on my info I gave you then dont bother. Hammer im not your kid so I dont think I will chill for you it seems you like to give out harassment but you cant take it when so one gives a little 'tude back.
If I already new exact specs and everything about this truck I would not have any questions to ask.

With a **** poor attitude like that, I feel sorry for whoever's kid you are. They have to put up with you, we don't!

Good luck in finding resolutions to whatever troubles you may have with your truck, but you won't find them here. Good bye!!!
