My setup is the same that the 06-08 DR guys have and the SRTs. It just replaces the 02-05 coils with dual firing coils so there are no plugs. Runs mine. Otter actually has this same setup for sale right now on DT and LX.

weed, dont you mean that you are running no plug "WIRES"? seems kinda weird to be running without actual plugs. unless those new coils do something i dont know about.

Sure you have one! You're a firefighter....take it to the station, charge a 2" line at 150PSI and you're good to go!

Seriously, I'd stay away from high pressure water under an engine bay, IMO. I use a heavy duty engine degreaser and then I take a garden hose with a moderate stream. I cover any crucial electronics, alt, etc. I have coil packs on my LS1, and out of the tons of getting it ready for car shows...never did I have a problem with the coil packs...never cover them either. After the degreaser, I run the motor to operating temp to dry it up, then, I use an engine detailer. Gunk makes a decent one and I also use one by Black Magic where it's safe for all electronics and no wrapping is required. It's great for cowlings and under fender dressing for shows. Below are a couple of pic's of the LS1 after the detailer.

yeah, it does mean that, each coil has two boots on it, one boot for each of the two plugs in that cylinder. pretty clean setup. wish i had the money for it.

Yep, As OlDirtyjohn says, it doesnt have that and cleans things up a bit. For me, I bought it because i was going to eventually go to a 6.1 intake and could not have the wires going over the intake. You can use shorties but this setup is the way to go IMO.

Funny my LT1 looked alot like this... Right Down to the Strut tower Brace!!! LOL Except I had a functional Ram Air hood on it from SLP. And ever since that time with the packs i am just really leary about dumping any water in that bay! Guess ill just go for the gusto this weekend. And as far as running the Fire house unfder my hood... Well again knowing my luck my truck pressure will boost up through the roof ( we have 2 trucks that seem to do this on occasion) and Ill blow something out!!! LOL
