Default In dash bright lights indicator

I was driving last night and noticed a constant very faint flashing coming from the bright lights indicator. When I first got the truck in march, I was driving at night and thought I was going nuts. But last night I sat in the for a while and noticed it. Has anyone else had this problem with their 05 trucks??? What do you think lose wire?? Does it while driving and sitting.

Whoa. That's a new one. I'd get it to the dealer for sure. Does it happen at regular intervals?

I saw it the other morning also. Up until last night I thought I was just seeing things. it seems to almost pulse. no clue. When I take it for my first oil change I will mention something.

Maybe it's something tracking on the board, or maybe it's getting light from an adjacent bulb. Maybe the light is "leaking" into the bright indicator.

I see mine do it on occasion when I first crank my truck up in the morning. as soon as I turn my parking lights on it goes away even after I turn down the dimmer switch. but before I turn the lights on I see it.

it hasnt caused me any problems so I just look past it.

Is that the only one blinking? If so I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if others are flashing including the headlights, interior lights, etc (when on of course) then I'd look to the voltage regulator in the alternator (integral part, not removable). It will charge fine, but it can't control the voltage to a preset limit, like 14.4V.
