curroded plug??

Default curroded plug??

so i changed my plugs in my 03 ram 1500 ST...and the #1 plug on the driver side was corroded i heard that means that that cylinder is getting water in it..is that true?

if you got a haynes manual it shows what a bunch of different corroded spark plugs look like and whats the cause of it. post a pic and im sure someone could tell you.

i already threw them out like a D/A >_<

it was kinda like this..but not EXACTLY like it...

in the haynes book that looks like a worn spark plug thats just been in there too long. i dono just hope your new ones don't do the same thing any time soon.

it was only that one i changed all 8 and the other 8 were normal lookin-ish...but were kinda looking like that but VERY slight..i already changed them all and gapped to .040 (old ones were between .042 to .058) and its running ALOT better and ALOT cleaner..and i have 178,xxx miles one it

If you had anitfreeze going in the cylinder the plug would be white and really clean. If i were you i would put a few miles on it and then pull that plug again and check what it looks like. If it looks like the pic you put up it was probably just overdue for a change.
