Thermostat needs to be changed

Default Thermostat needs to be changed

I need some help here on where the thermostat is and how to change and what is the best t stat to put in it i have a 03 1500 hemi

When you go buy one, ask them to show you where it is at. But it is at the end of the top rad hose inside the housing. To get it off there are two bolts.

Alright well I replaced the thermostat and coolant but its still trying to get hot when I let it sit there for awhile any idea what else it might be, I replaced it with a 192 instead of the 203 that was in it

you more than likely have an air bubble in the system after the thermostat install. take off the radiator cap, fill up the resevoir, let the truck get hot and you should see it "burp" when the thermostat opens. The level in the resevoir should go down a little. Fill it back up, put that cap on and shut the truck off.

It looked like it worked but the temp gauge went a lil lower than usually

thats because of the lower temp thermostat. you should be maintaining a little below halfway on the gauge.
