train horn vid with SPL meter
So I had some guys questioning just how loud these things can get. My setup is a VIAIR 380c compressor feeding into a 3 gallon tank with all 1/2" line and valves and 2 (17" and 21") Seige Engineering horns.
So this is a vid of the rig with my holding a Quest Technologies 2100 SPL meter I borrowed from work.
If you go through my sig link gallery pics you can see my horns face towards the drivers side and not down or forward so Im sure you can get a much higher reading out of them. Placement and enviornment can mean a lot
Enjoy.

^^^ When I first got my horns, almost every friend I ran into I would ask to come over to my drivers side and when they were in front of the horn I would hit it......LOL
Hell...........it was always funny to my at least.....LOL

So funny I ran across this thread, me and the ol lady were JUST talking about the train horns tonight. Laughing like hell, talking about getting behind cars going across some tracks, and as soon as they gut up there to cross, hitting the horns, lol. And that was HER idea!! As immature as it is, I would have oh so much fun out on the strip at night!
I gotta find some way to make other girls scream a little
