I would have a concern that the flowmaster's are known to rust and that one is already showing signs along some of the weld lines. To be able to pony up a few extra dollars and have a brand new one? Or possibly buy a Magnaflow that is proven. Here's a couple of new ones for almost the same price. I know you're in Canada but I don't know if I could bring myself to buy a flowmaster especially not a used one. That's just my opinion.

I'd stick with a stainless muffler myself being your from Canada. An aluminized flowmaster will rust out in no time up there.

Flowmaster does sell stainless mufflers now, but they are pricey. i like magnaflow personally and if i had to do it over again, I would get a 14" oval for a little bit louder tone. i have 18" right now. Click on sig link for sound clip.

That sounds wicked Dirtydog! Does the magnaflow have a specific part number or do they just go by size? (ex. you have a 18" and wanting a 14")
If it is a part number, what do you currently have on your truck?

Thanks. It's very quiet in the cab with no resonance. It's a little quiet in the cab for my taste as i like to hear it. Everyone outside the truck knows it's not stock. In my video, i revved it up to 5400rpms so you can see that's it's not an annoying screamer.

For the most part, Magnaflow does by body length. i actually purchased the entire catback kit so there is no part number for the muffler because it has the tips welded on to it.

Brado34, yes that is my muffler in a 14" body with the exception mine has a polished shiny finish which makes no difference in sound at all. Who cares if a muffler underneath a truck is shiny right.

14" will be a little throatier and more aggressive at WOT than mine, but still tame while cruising

I'd offer 50 bucks cuz he probably knows he has a sub par product, in some opinions, and if he doesn't budge then get the magna blow. i mean magnaflow, sorry.
