OFF road pics of the MEGA and a bonus
I just ordered my BW pocket flares, caught them on sale for $397 for all 4 pieces and thought it was a good deal. I will have mine color-matched.
Hey RH, I know these add coverage out away from the truck but do they add anything inside the wheel-well other than the thickness of the material they are made of?

Painted looks sweet on RH's rig, but you have more of the black and white theme and I think the black ones would be a better fit for you.
North Idaho also has a large Moose population. When I went Elk hunting there I saw some of the largest moose I have ever seen, and I saw more Moose then Elk. Go figure.
and also, i thought moose and elk were one in the same... although my high school had a daycare in it.... so....

Elk

Big Horn Sheep. Took this with my cell phone on HWY 285 in Grant CO

Here is a moose (1 of 5) that live near my cabin in Fairplay. The willows and brush stand taller then 6' to give you an idea of how tall they are. Don't want to stumble a cross one in the sticks either because they are not friendly creatures.
Lol nitto, the biggest thing we have down here are nice Whitetail. The first time I went pheasant hunting in SD I saw a moose. I thought it was a horse!
We have a family farm in Appleton City, MO but all I really do is goose/duck hunt. My cousins always have a so called guided buck hunt, I always get to kill a nice 8 or 10pt when I go up there, which is huge for down here but my family will have 10 of em on the camera every night. Ridiculous.
RH, if you like your 270 you should get a 270WSM. I bought one last year and have been loving it, made a 670yrd shot last year across a cow pasture and dropped it. And for whoever was talking about the 243, ive been using a 243WSSM for probably 6 years now. Awesome gun for spotlighting and shooting across fields (I use it for coyotes mostly)
And lastly Shiloh. If you drive down just a few hundred more miles ill take you on a real hog hunt. Im in North LA. We dont shoot them of course, we use dogs to catch them and then hobble em up n bring them to our pen. We caught a 428lb boar just two weekends ago.
