Default 8" lift, will it work?

Here in the next couple months I plan on adding 8" of lift and 37's to my 07 QC 1500 4x4. My plan was buying a BDS 6" suspension lift and adding 2" blocks in the back and keeping my current 2" leveling kit in the front.

My question is will this work or do a suspension kit and leveling kit not work together? If not, what's the next best route to take?

-Thanks

Im pretty sure you can keep your leveling keys with the lift, but if you want even more lift, add a 3" body lift then you'll have 11".

Shiloh, the BDS lift isnt as bad as the fabtech one, its angles are a lot less severe

Spacers on top of a lift will throw your suspension geometry out of whack. It can be done, but I hope you like replacing CVs. If you want 8" of lift, go with a kit designed for that much lift.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Would it be better to just go 6" suspension and 3" body rather than my previous idea?

I'd like to stay away from a body lift because I've heard a lot of weird things about them and plus I'd like to add a bull bar later on as well and from what I've read I wouldn't be able to with a body lift unless I made my own brackets.

Well in your case, you could get the zone body lift kit. I believe you can still use bullbars and winch mounts with that kit because it doesn't hack up the bumper.
