It all depends on the mudhole at the competition. Some places they are made more for speed going through the hole, but someplaces they are really deep and that is where you can get into alot of trouble and costly repairs. They have a mudbog here and two years ago a guy with a new hemi tried to go through and had no luck. He tortured the crap out of his truck. Ended up with a f-uped bumper and it was a leased truck. I've done it a few times with my zr2, but would never try some of the same stuff with my stock ram. Usually at the mud runs here they always make you haul the towrope, so tow hooks on the front won't matter if they run it the same. Good luck and put lots of picks up.

yea just dont plow into it, once ur front end is in then giver hell! puttin the stock intake back on is a good idea (i know from experience). you can air down ur tires if u want, but dont go to much or ull roll ur bead. try and keep ur windows up if you can, if u ur slowing down steer left and right ull get more traction and itl help pull u threw and dont forget u have reverse HAVE FUNNNNNN

He doesnt have big enough tires to roll his bead, I had the same size tire on 16's on my 98 and I aired down to 10 and under frequently.
