Right where the oem muffler was clamped on, took that off and had it welded on with it dumped at the rear axle. I've heard pyro's setup and he has a lot of popping,(which I personally enjoy) but mine not so much. The only time it pops is when I'm wot and it shifts gears and then only a little. Mine may be different but of course I have the 4.7 and I got SISO 2.5 in and 2.5 out. He's running the SIDO like you got. Lovin' it though. You sure as hell get some head turns when you lay into that thing!!

I don't think I'd be too picky on the weld. I would however be kinda picky about the shop. If you're having duals with tips put on I'd just want to know about their quality of work. Such as will the duals be level with each other, the quality of the way they properly hang the system, etc. If I had to pay someone an extra few bucks to know it's done properly and they'd stand behind their work that goes a long way in my book. You don't have any strictly exhaust shops in Dallas? If you're leary about Midas then call around or stop by a shop or two.

That's in the ball park. Just make sure if you have them sell you the tips they're polished stainless steel so they avoid corrosion.
