Default Mod coming soon!

Well fellas I finally got off my *** and went to the local pick and pull and came to the conclusion that it's a pile! Not one Ram truck. But I did find 3 Taurus 3.8L fans for around $30 each! My daughters 3rd bday party is sat. so if that doesnt break my wallet too much I'm gonna try to pull one sunday. I do have questions though, I've read quite a few people have this kit. Has anyone has any problems with it yet due to the low amp rating. I have a 75 amp relay laying around, should I switch it out? And what amp fuse should I use if I switch the relay? I know another e-fan thread I've searched but theres just too much info on the forum making it hard to find anything these days. Thanks fellas!

Thats the kit I use and I have no issues using it with the low side of my efan. It comes with a 40/60 amp relay and I just 3 days ago swapped it over the to the high side of the fan to see how it works. I have popped the 25A fuse and things stay cool. I know I can get a 5 pin SPDT 60/80A relay on ebay for about $10

Hey weed, how is the high side. I just put quick disconnects on the ends of the wires and hooked it up to the low side. Then I can swap it over to the high side if I need to do some heavy towing or hauling. I haven't tried the high side for more than 2-3 mins. How is it? Loud when your idling like at a stop light? Engine temp stay any lower?

I tried the high side of my taurus fan when I first hooked it up. It sucks a ton of air and it also sounds like you have a helicopter under the hood.
