It will not impact performance, but it will make it more noticeable when the MDS kicks in. A lot of people "hate" the MDS tone, but for me, it isn't worth loosing the MPG by disabling the MDS just for sound reasons.

I am curious about the "E-cutouts" I was thinking that if you ran around with the cutout open wouldn't that make too little back pressure thus hurting performance?

I am waiting on my cutout in the mail so I cant say from experience but from what others have said on here, it loses some low end power but power slightly increases as the rpms increase.

I have had a flowmaster 50 series HD on for about 4 years and no problems with rust. I love it.

The stock manifolds and crappy y-pipe will still leave more than enough back pressure even with the cutout open.

I have an 06 Hemi and I put the AeroTurbine AT3030XL on mine. I also left the stock resonaters in place. It is pretty quiet when idling or just putting around but when you put your foot in it, it sounds like the Hemi should. Nice deep rumble. Here is some video of how mine sounds. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...-at3030xl.html

what would it do if I just took the resonator out? Would it sound better and would I loose performance...actually what does the resonator do?
