Default 42RLE band adjustment

I'm changing the tranny fluid and filter this weekend ('07 Ram 1500, 3.7). Can anyone tell/send me instructions on how to adjust the bands? I have the service manual, but haven't found the pages referencing this proceduce.

Why would you think they needed to be adjusted? That us something completely internal without adjustment which is why it isnt in a service manual.

if they do need adjusted, have a professional do it. i adjusted mine in my 46re and double and triple checked everything and followed the instuctions to a tee and im pretty darn good with stuff like that... well i ended up frying my tranny after about 1000 miles after adjustment... luckily i still had warrenty and got a complete rebuild for $100

A 42RLE transmission does not have any bands to adjust. Its the same transmission thats in the rear wheel drive cars.

Excellent, I appreciate the help! I'd seen topics where it was related to some earlier Chrysler tranny's which did have bands to adjust, but couldn't find reference to this particular model. Again, thanks for the help!
