with a cai and exhaust i almost get 14 mpg, maybe 15 if i go downhill

i have 1.7 harland sharps,CAI,52mmfastman,highflow cat and longtube headers and they all helped alot oh and superchips

superchips is the best out out of it all, felt like a new truck with the new found power

also look down your thottle body for oil if so you need to fix that, you can lose alot of power that way

I just acquired a bare 5.9L 360C.I. block for my 74'' Duster. It was free and checked out clean, just pondering if I should build it or rebuild my current 5.2L 318C.I. Motor. Both awesome solid engines. Decisions.....decisions...

That's easy, 360!! There's no replacement for displacement.







I know that's not as true anymore but it's still fun to say.

You should do the E-FAN....I get pretty consistant 18 on the highway now.

how much was your e fan, and where did you get it?

Efan was from a Ford Taurus at the salvage yard, and there are many options for fan controllers too.

If you do a search, you will find a ton of info..

If I recall, I spent a total of $55 on my setup, and a few hours wrench time to get'r done.
