dont need to change shocks, lots of kits out there, rough country, hell bent steel, lots of ebay kits, basically all the same. Do a search lots and lots of info on this.

I'm glad you asked, becuase coincidentally enough I just got off Ebay and was looking at the same stuff.

I see that there is two different ways. There's a daystar kit, granted I have a RWD, that you bolt to the top part of the spring area, then there is a kit on Ebay that follows the coil closely and just kind of lays underneath it. Last but not least I saw that you could simply replace the coil... which would be cool if there were some cool colors out there.

I'll do some searches, but maybe someone will post on here with some suggestions.

I hope your not tryin to offer any advice, your suspension is about 6 billion times different then his. He has a torsion bar setup to clear the drive axles for the front wheels, you don't so yours has coil springs. Just thought I'd make that clear.

No dawg, just posting some ideas for those that have those that don't have those cool torsion keys.

I meant no advice, just wanted to show some interest in the thread to see if anyone else could post some good advice...

I went with rough country on my 06, granted, I have IFS. I bought my stuff from Rocky Mountain Suspension, they were freaking awesome. I would recommend upgrading your shocks if you do the level, it just rides sooooo much better.

Go under the truck and crank the tbars for a free lift. If you don't want to do that just order some new keys from any number of places for pretty cheap. Some people say you don't have to change the shocks to extended length. Personally I would but that's just my opinion on things. Yes, I have a 2wd but I leveled it 2" and longer shocks were a MUST!!!!!

9511234: You can buy longer coils. That's what I did. They're rough country leveling coils. You can go to their website and order 'em and they also have the extended length shocks for a reasonable price. I'm not too sure about the paint since the coil flex's up and down. You'd have to have a pretty durable paint.

With an '02-'05 you have torsion bars and torsion keys with adjusting bolts, crank them bolts. About 2.25" is enough to get you level, but if you keep it down to around 1.5" you wouldn't need shocks, most of the rake would be gone and your CV axles will thank you...

Wait a second... I have an 03 2wd...does that mean I have keys or a torsion bar? Everywhere else is saying I would need a spacer thing or a longer spring????

EDIT: just being dumb, I need soacers or a longer spring. Going back to sleep now, LOL.
That's just another difference between 2wd and 4wd...
