So you have an add a leaf and that shackle then frog? What exactly is your suspension setup frog? I know you have 9 inches of lift... but I dont exactly know what you have to get that 9 inches... lol.

I added extended shackles to my old 93 YJ (jeep wrangler) and they flattened the crap out of the leaf springs. What about your leafs frog, did they flatten out any? If so, don't you lose payload capacity?

The leafs on a half ton truck are a little more stout than those on a wrangler. There's plenty of rake left in my truck, so no flattened springs.

No what I meant, was if you have a 6 inch in the front and 4 inch in the rear lift from pro comp then why do you have an add a leaf and lift shackles as well? Wouldnt that give you like 7 inches of rear lift nearly? Or did you only buy the front kit from pro comp and do the rear lift yourself?

Oh I gotcha now. The procomp kit came with a gigantic cheesy block for the rear. I hate blocks, so I swapped them for an AAL and the shackle. Blocks are OK on the street but when I'm wampin around on the beach or towing my boat, I don't want to worry about the axle rolling out from underneath a block. Plus blocks are ugly.

Oh... Ok, I understand now lol. Yeah, most kits come with blocks, thats a good idea though, how did you manage to get exactly 4 inches? I think I would want 5 if I got a 6 inch kit, I like less rake than factory but I dont like a completely level ride.

Luck I guess. The kit came with a 3.5" block. After I swapped in the AAL and shackle I was 1/2" taller. lol

I need to keep a little rake for towing. I had it levelled at one point and it sucked when towing at night. Lots of pissed off drivers flashing me and stuff.

Wow, I guess I was wrong about the add a leafs this whole time. When I bought my dodge, it already had the add a leaf in it. When I put my 2" leveling kit on, it made the truck look like it was squatting. So I believed people when they told me that the add a leaf didnt do anything.
