I have an '08 Ram 3500. I bought it with the manual HVAC controls. Now I wish I had the automatic, dual zone HVAC controls.

When installing an aftermarket radio, I noticed that the HVAC control head is simply plug & play.

Does anyone know if it is possible/realistic to switch to the automatic HVAC controls? It looks like it could be as simple as a new control head and a sensor.

Anyone have any experience with this...........?

 

You can swap the control head, but you'll also have to get the option turned on in the pcm.
