Straight pipe = more power?
Now I got a question here. Recently I have my buddy at school put a new muffler I bought ( it's a magnaflow) and he didn't have time to finish so instead he'd give me some amusement and took off the stock muffler and tail pipe so now it sounds bad azz! But back to my question does doing this add more power or makes it weaker, my buddy says it makes it weak cuz of no back pressure so which is it.
Oh plus I'll post up some vids of it soon, camcorder has full memoryso I gotta empty it

Yes! Definately put it on. But if your not sure, drive it around for a while, you'll be able to notice it. Youll have less get-up-an-go/acceleration without the muffler. That's the resulting torque loss.
Haha yeah they sure do. I drive around my school at lunch and every one is just jaw dropped with the roar from it haha, plus I scared one chick trying to get in her car next to my truck I remote started it and she jumped haha.
But anyways since we're still kinds in topic what good effective mods can I put on to add tourqe? I love tourqe more than horse power so what can I get, let's say under $1000?
Thanks
