Default I hate headlight timers!

Does anyone have any idea how to make my headlights turn off when I TURN THEM OFF! Every time I get out of my truck someone says, "Hey, Your lights are on" Call my old school but when I turn the lights off, I want them off. I don't need 45 seconds of light so I can get in my house safely! lol Thanks

Turn off the lights before the engine, as stated. Problem solved.

Yeah I noticed that works, I also noticed that if you turn the switch to the off position and then back on and off again, that does it. I still would like to see if it is possible to change this somehow. Anyone ever messed around with the relays or capacitors that keep the lights on?

I turned mine off by one of those goofy procedures, but I lost the little sheet that was in my glove box telling you how to do it

My menu on my computer on the ceiling lets me change that... I can turn them off as well. Like 90 seconds or 60 seconds are the on options and then it has an option to have them off.

you could have the dealer hook the star scan up to your truck and have them turn it off probably.
