Red Truck: Black or Chrome?
Although my truck is a work in progress and not red red, I have both. Mirrors, handles and yes the windows are black. I have chrome trim, although the 4x4 and Ram 3500 badges are going away, but the spears and nerf bars will stay as is. My wheels have a little of both
My personal opinion is that it depends on what kind of look you are going for. I'd say that if you are going for a street/custom look then chrome is the way to go. If you are looking for a tuff off road look then Black would be the way to go.
true but i must say gothemi44 did it on a street truck and pulled it off rather nicely
I agree ^^ if you want a classy look go chrome if you want rugged go black...both will look good. I dont like it when you go overboard with the chrome, so maybe mix it up a little. Do some bodycolor, chrome and leave a few things black thats just my opinion.
Depends on the "black"... When I think of a "blacked out" truck, I picture the head lights and tails blacked out or with the "Euro" black accessories, which to me looks nice, but screams "street" machine.
When I think of a rugged looking I actually think Camo and would have loved to have gone that route myself, but camo and red would be hideous!!!
There is a guy I fish with in Georgia on occasion, has an older (late '90s) white Cheby Z71 with camo vent visors, fender flares and lower side panels that looks killer to me. I'll have to take a pic of it next time I'm up at the farm...
