When it comes right down to it, do what every you want. I prefer red and black because around here chrome turns to $hit with the mag chloride they started putting on the roads in the winter. Even the dealerships changed there warranty on wheels and such because they were replacing parts repetitively. That and I don't feel bad scratching the crap out of a black wheel, but if they were chrome I would feel really bad.

Red and black makes a very nice combo. Chrome is something to be removed from trucks, not added to them IMO.

On a stock/lowered truck I would say red and chrome. If the truck is lifted or leveled definitely red and black.
