INSURANCE cost
I'm paying $225 a month with State Farm. I'm 24 with a clean driving record in "California", but the brand new truck is what really made mine jump. I've never had insurance for under $175 a month, so $150 is a good deal.

Look in my sig for what I drive. I pay roughly $500/6months for full coverage, $500/deduct with State Farm, No accidents, no tickets. And i'm 21, college student. My insurance dropped considerably when I turned 21.
Just getting the prices from individuals can give you a false impression. Much of your insurance rates are based on the zip code you live in and how far you drive to and from work each day. Age, marital staus, driving record and multi-car/house discounts help as well. You have to look at all the factors to get a good comparison.
I am 42, own a house, married and 3 cars and my rates are $1300/yr on my '05 Daytona Ram. $500 deductable and full coverage. I also drive 50 miles round trip each day to and from work. That alone causes my rates to go up. I have State farm and they were the cheapest when compared to geico and American Family. This is for the St louis metro area as well.

True - A person's credit score also plays a big factor. I don't think driving distance has that much impact. I drive 110 round trip daily.

I drive a 2003 1500 quad cab 2wd. I'm 23 living in Indiana. My rate is $1,400 for 6 months. I'm still shopping around, but I'm pretty sure I won't find anything much better. My uncle runs an insurance place, so hopefully he'll be able to set me up with something and shave a few dollars off
